Junior Prompt Engineer

Location

Farmington, CT (Monday through Thursday in-office; Fridays remote)

About The Role

We are looking for curious, driven recent graduates who are excited about the future of AI and eager to learn. As a Junior Prompt Engineer, you will help design, test, and refine prompts that guide AI systems (like ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to produce high-quality, accurate, and useful outputs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting, problem-solving, and continuously learning, even if you don’t have prior experience in prompt engineering.

What You’ll Do

• Design and iterate prompts to improve AI-generated responses
• Test outputs from AI systems and identify areas for improvement
• Analyze responses for accuracy, tone, relevance, and consistency
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams
• Document best practices, patterns, and prompt strategies
• Learn new AI tools and adapt to evolving technologies
• Support development of use cases across domains (customer support, content generation, automation, etc.)

Must-have

• Recent graduate (any field—Tech, Business, Humanities, etc.)
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and critical thinking
• Ability to experiment, iterate, and learn from feedback
  
  

Nice-to-have (not required)

• Basic understanding of AI, ChatGPT, or large language models
• Experience with writing, research, or content creation
• Exposure to Python, APIs, or data tools (a plus, not mandatory)
• Background in linguistics, psychology, journalism, or computer science
