Position Summary:
The AI Prompt Designer I is responsible for designing, refining, and optimizing prompts used in large language model (LLM) applications that support TurningPoint’s AI-powered healthcare solutions. This role collaborates with clinical specialists, engineers, and product teams to develop prompt strategies that improve AI performance, reliability, and operational usability. The AI Prompt Designer I evaluates prompt outputs, iterates on prompt structures, and contributes to the development of scalable prompt workflows across AI products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and refine prompts used in large language model (LLM) applications supporting TurningPoint AI solutions.
- Evaluate prompt performance using structured testing datasets and defined quality metrics.
- Iterate on prompt structures to improve model accuracy, reasoning quality, and response consistency.
- Document prompt design patterns, testing results, and prompt version updates.
- Collaborate with clinical AI specialists, engineers, and product teams to align prompt design with product requirements and clinical workflows.
- Support development of reusable prompt frameworks and prompt optimization strategies.
- Participate in prompt experimentation, benchmarking, and evaluation processes.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve AI prompt workflows and system efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for prompt development, evaluation results, and operational processes
Education, Experience and Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply prompt design techniques for AI systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with structured data and AI system outputs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with AI tools, prompt engineering, or natural language processing systems.
- Familiarity with prompt testing methodologies or AI evaluation workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and collaboration tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
