Junior Software Developer – AI and Prompt Design

Overview

We're looking for a recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field who is enthusiastic about developing software within an AI-enhanced environment. This entry-level position provides a valuable opportunity for early-career professionals to apply fundamental programming and development skills by working alongside seasoned engineers. The role involves crafting and optimizing prompts, verifying AI responses, and integrating large language models into operational systems. It’s a development-focused role that leverages AI as a supportive tool, rather than a research position.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field
• Basic knowledge of core programming principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python; familiarity with JavaScript, Java, or comparable languages is also acceptable
• Understanding of large language models such as ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent tools
• Good written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
  
  

Primary Tasks

• Develop and improve prompts to support software tasks, data workflows, and automation processes
• Test and validate AI outputs to ensure accuracy and security
• Create tools, scripts, or services that interact with AI models via APIs
• Collaborate with senior team members to enhance prompt strategies and AI integration methods
• Write clear, well-structured code accompanied by documentation and basic testing
• Learn best practices for AI safety, hallucination mitigation, and output assessment
• Review code and contribute to team discussions on technical solutions
