Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Systems Engineer- Conventional Prompt Strike position that just opened in Pittsfield, MA. In this role, you will join a cross-functional team delivering hardware, software, and systems solutions for critical defense programs. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or related plus a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Location: Pittsfield, MA
Position: Systems Engineer – Conventional Prompt Strike
Contract: 24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $48.15/hour
Schedule: Onsite with occasional hybrid flexibility

As a Systems Engineer on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program, you will join a cross-functional team delivering hardware, software, and systems solutions for critical defense programs. This role may involve:

• Test & Integration Engineering: Hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing
• Requirements Engineering: Documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): System modeling, simulations, and design analysis
• Hardware-Systems Engineering: Design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field; Master’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Agile development experience is a plus

• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and technical standards
• Proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools
• Ability to learn quickly and manage increasing responsibilities
• Collaborative team player committed to professional growth
