About the role

About Flagright:
Flagright is an AI-native financial crime compliance platform used globally by Fortune 500 companies, large banks, fintechs, and fast growing startups. We centralize transaction monitoring, screening, risk management, and investigations into a single, modern system built for scale, real-time performance, and regulatory rigor.

We operate as a lean, high-performance team with high individual ownership and direct access to leadership.

Role overview:

We are hiring a Technical Content Writer & Social Content Lead to own high‑quality content production across the funnel so content becomes a predictable engine (not a heroic effort). Turn SME knowledge into clear, conversion‑aware assets, and repurpose them into strong organic social distribution.

You’ll win in this role if you can:

  • Extract insights fast from sales calls recordings

  • Write crisp, technically accurate drafts with minimal editorial churn

  • Operate a content system (briefs → drafts → review → publish-ready)

  • Turn one “big” asset into multiple social-native pieces without losing meaning

Key responsibilities:

  1. Content production (primary)

You own drafting and iteration for:

  • Blog posts (SEO + POV): product/industry explainers, use cases, comparison posts, tactical how-tos, and opinionated takes where appropriate

  • Handbooks/guides: structured long-form assets that support campaigns and lead capture

  • Newsletters: weekly/biweekly cadence that compounds trust + activates dormant leads

  • Case study + client announcement drafts: narrative, structure, and polish

  • Product / use-case explainers: clear “what it is / why it matters / how it works / proof / CTA” pages or docs as needed

Definition of “done”: drafts that are publish-ready (not “first thoughts”); clear, accurate, on-voice, properly structured, CTA-aware.

  1. Social ownership

You own organic social content creation and day-to-day execution, turning core assets into distribution.

  • Repurpose long-form content into social-native formats (LinkedIn|X|Medium|Reddit posts, short threads, carousels briefs, short POV posts, founder/exec voice drafts if needed)

  • Create weekly social batches aligned to the content calendar and active priorities (campaigns, launches, proof points)

  • Coordinate with our creative designer for any visuals needed (diagrams, carousels, simple charts)

  • Coordinate with program and campaign lead to align publishing/distribution schedule and avoid calendar collisions

  • Maintain a lightweight social system: post bank, hooks library, proof points library, “evergreen” rotation

  • Track basics: post frequency, engagement quality, top performers, and patterns worth repeating

  1. Content system + editorial operations

Build and maintain a repeatable content system:

  • Content briefs, outlines, interview notes, and source links

  • Version control + consistent naming conventions

  • Central content repository (final assets + reusable components)

  • A visible pipeline view: what’s in discovery, drafting, review, revision, approved

  1. Sales calls insight extraction
  • Proactively schedule time with sales & retention team to extract raw insights (short structured interviews, async Q&A, call shadowing)

  • Own the process of turning messy inputs into structured drafts

  • Maintain a question bank by topic (so extraction gets faster over time)

  1. SEO collaboration
  • Work with our SEO lead on SEO requirements: target keywords, structure, internal linking opportunities, and search intent alignment

  • Implement on-page SEO basics in drafts (headings, FAQs where relevant, internal link placeholders, metadata suggestions)

  1. Publishing readiness + QA

Maintain a content QA checklist, including:

  • Clarity, structure, and reading flow

  • Technical accuracy + no overclaims

  • Voice consistency and positioning

  • CTA placement and conversion intent

  • Compliance basics (no sensitive client disclosure, no unapproved claims, correct terminology)

Your profile:

  • Proven experience writing B2B content (technical, product, or process-heavy topics)

  • Ability to translate sales and product input into clear writing with minimal supervision

  • Strong written English (near-native / CEFR C1-C2 equivalent) and confident spoken English for interviews

  • Comfortable running structured interviews (Sales, Product, CS) and synthesizing quickly

  • Strong editorial judgment: clarity, structure, precision, and knowing what to cut

  • Able to work fast without getting sloppy: tight turnaround, high accuracy

Nice-to-have:

  • Prior experience as a Virtual Assistant (VA) or in an operations-heavy role

  • Familiarity with SEO writing and internal linking strategies

  • Experience owning organic social for a B2B brand or founder voice

  • Familiarity with content ops tools (Notion, project boards, etc.)

Application process :

In addition to your resume, please include all of the following or we won’t review your application:

  1. Annual salary expectation (USD)

  2. 1 minute video (camera ON) on either Loom or YouTube answering:

  3. 2-3 writing published samples (PDFs)
